Straight From the Connected Accounts
Your child's messages reach Helmit directly from the connected social media and messaging accounts over secure API connections. Nothing is read off their screen. Location, screen time and web filtering come from the Helmit app on their phone, and only for the protections you switched on.
Analysed Locally or in the EU Cloud
With the Helmit desktop app, your child's messages are analysed on your own computer and never leave it. If you use the mobile app on its own, that analysis runs on Helmit servers in the EU. You choose the mode in the app.
Encrypted Storage, Yours Alone
Anything sent to us travels over encrypted connections and is stored in the EU. Only you can see your family's data, and deleting a child profile or your account removes it from our servers.

Run the desktop app and your child's messages are analysed on your own computer, never uploaded to us. Prefer a phone-only setup? The mobile app does the same work on our EU servers. It's a setting you control, not a one-way street.
Encrypted and Hosted in the EU
Every connection between your family's devices and Helmit is TLS-encrypted, and everything we store sits on servers inside the EU. Access is limited to you and to the few Helmit staff who need it to operate the service.
Smart Notifications Only
You only receive alerts when potential dangers are detected. Regular conversations remain completely private and are never shown to you unless there's a safety concern.
